From Library Journal:
In this book, two Israeli journalists examine the anticolonial uprising by Palestinians against the Israeli occupation that erupted in December 1987 as part of their general description of the anxiety and anger of the Palestinian population. They document the names of the various organizations and their leaders who are directing the uprising with surprising detail, and seem to have had unusual access to Israeli officials. This may be added to the growing literature on the event, including Don Peretz's Intifada (Westview, 1990) and Yossi Melman and Dan Raviv's Behind the Uprising (Greenwood, 1989). Recommended for subject collections.
