Neil Morris received his B.A. Honors in German. After graduating he worked in marketing and editing for companies such as Kiddicraft, Evans and Macdonald. In 1979 he began a freelance partnership with his wife involving writing, editing, product development and translations. Throughout the years Neil has continued to write numerous non-fiction and fiction books. He and his wife have three children.

Daily Life at Home A famous French architect once called houses "machines for living." He thought houses should be designed to make people's everyday lives as pleasant, comfortable, and convenient as possible. All around the world, people have built homes to meet their needs. People with large families need plenty of space in or around their homes, where their children can sleep and play. In cold climates, people need houses with good insulation and heating systems to keep their houses warm. People who entertain guests a lot look for houses with large living and dining rooms where they can relax and share meals.
