Signed inside by Alec Stock to fly-leaf ("To Don" and dated 1991); Ted Drake ("To a Great Player"), Arthur Milton and Peter Marinello to half title-page; Denis Compton and Tom Parker (Arsenal's legendary captain) overleaf and by Alan Ball and Don Roper to title-page. A card signed by Stanley Matthews is laid down to front pastedown. We are not sure who Don was but he was obviously a player known to most of them.
