End papers have a black ink " A-3" on all four. Smudged in spots, Front flyleaf also has smaller ink previous owner name. Text pages are unmarked, Text block not tight but very sound. Unpaginated, but about 90 pages. Colored illustrations on each page. Children's story of a mean grumpy old man becoming happy. Interesting cartoon artwork actually a graphic children's book. Dust jacket is heavily worn, wrinkled and has no spine. In mylar and still retains the $7.50 price on the flap.

Soft cover. Condition: Near Fine. Original TWENTIETH - CENTURY items. Each leaf, dated 1924 with one dated 1925. Individual leafs, approx. 8 1/2" x 11 1/2" tall. Vintage, original issues. Swinnerton was an American cartoonist and landscape painter of the Southwest deserts. From 1922 to 1941 he produced this series for Good Housekeeping Magazine. These 8 pages are early in this series. Reverse side of pages have famed illustrators Berta and Elmer Hader cut out dolls. All Eight pages are clean and unmarked. FRAMEABLE. Margins have a few micro nicks and one 1/2" closed tear. Hard to find, fabulous collectibles. Protected in a mylar sleeve.
